"My Limited ‘Liberal Arts’ Education"

More people come to the United States for a higher education than to any other country -- and the value of an "American Style" liberal arts education is a major attractor. However, as Nepalese Pratyoush Onta says in the KathmanduPost, merely attending an institution where study in the liberal arts is available does not guarantee that a liberal arts education will be received -- and he laments how his life and work after college could have been enhanced if he had actually completed more work in the liberal arts.
